Democratic primary voters expressed strong levels of concern, commitment and awareness.  Republican primary voters had similar but less intense views.

The poll was conducted in Manchester, New Hampshire by the Mellman Group, which gathered information in November and December of 2006.  The survey included 400 Democratic and 400 Republican likely primary election voters.
