Morning Workshops: Session 1
Track 1: Energy Projects Efficient Building Upgrades
This session gave an overview of energy efficiency projects conducted in the last year around NH, explored the opportunities for building efficiency, and addressed the challenges of making successful energy projects.
Track 2: Energy Projects The Building Blocks of Sound Energy Planning
Participants learned how results of a regulatory audit and master planning can set the stage for effective implementation of energy plans.
Track 3: Energy Projects Financing Energy Projects
Speakers highlighted the current funding mechanisms and resources available for municipal and school energy project implementation, especially important in a post-ARRA environment.
Track 4: Effective Committees Building Community Relationships & Engaging the Public: A Crash Course in Community Relations
This session explored how to successfully engage community members in local energy initiatives.
Track 5: Energy 101: The Basics A) Fundamentals of Energy Conservation AND All About Audits
This session was designed to dispel common myths about energy use in buildings and to help participants understand what type of audits they might need and get the most out of the energy auditing process.

B) Why Should I Care About or Be Aware of the NH Energy Code?
This presentation gave a brief overview of the history and framework of the NH Energy Code, addressed common questions, and looked at enforcement. It also offered resources, trainings, and other opportunities to learn more about the NH Energy Code.
