To an old dinosaur like me, who has been advocating for historic preservation and energy conservation and sustainability for many years, one of the most hopeful aspects of today’s conference is that, had it been held 30 years ago, some of the attendees would have been picketing some of the other attendees/sponsors. How wonderful it is that the utilities and the business community, local officials, and local advocates now have a way to work together toward common goals!
That was the best conference I have attended in my 18 years at EPA. It was so exciting to see so many volunteers, and every one of them so engaged, asking questions, and happy to have the opportunity to attend. It reminded me of when the pollution prevention movement started at the state level 20 years ago. It was a real testimony to the base of support you have developed in New Hampshire. Thanks for including EPA.
I attend a lot of energy conferences so I am a little jaded but this was one of the very best. It had good organization, vegetarian food, good speakers, interesting exhibits but most of all a wonderful group of grassroots people working to get the job done. Congratulations to those who put it together. Please do it again next year. You can quote me.
This has been an amazing educational and energizing and empowering privilege for learning and networking - I feel as if I'm leaving with a thousand times more knowledge than when I arrived this morning.
Exhibitor Comment: Reasonable price, excellent organizational work, nice venue (organic local greens and food!!), really stellar for exhibitors.
Thank you for an extremely fine conference - I especially felt a great deal of intelligence and commitment coming from all the speakers … On top of everything else, it was encouraging and motivating. It's always easier to work hard when others, especially leaders, are working effectively for the same goals.
