Sound science has always been a cornerstone of our approach at Clean Air-Cool Planet. We work with leading climate scientists and are committed to getting the most up-to-date scientific information to the public in ways they can understand and use.

Some highlights of our work:

• Sea Level Rise Maps: CA-CP developed a series of high-resolution poster-sized maps of U.S. cities that show the land and infrastructure at risk from sea-level rise and storm surge. The maps were presented in a series of coastal community events designed to bring the latest sea level rise and ice sheet science to officials and citizens on the US east coast. We will continue to hold similar events in coastal communities along the east coast, focused on climate preparedness.
• Public Seminars: In partnership with the Norwegian Embassy, we are conducting a series of climate seminars that highlight the impacts of climate change on arctic nations and the need for rapid action to reduce carbon pollution.
• Educator resources: From our Climate Change Backpack® to our Clean Energy Climate Solutions project - both undertaken in the context of our coordination of the Northeast and Connecticut Science Center Collaboratives - CA-CP offers "best-in-class" tools and trainings for both formal and informal science educators.
• Interviews with leading scientists: CA-CP interviews leading scientists whose work is related to climate change
• Climate Change in the Northeast: When we published Indicators of Climate Change in the Northeast in cooperation with UNH in 2002, it was one of the first in-depth examinations of regional climate change "indicators" ever done, and we've since remained at the forefront of efforts to understand, communicate and prepare for the local and regional impacts of climate change.
