In order to curb the greenhouse gas emissions that cause global warming, we have to address CO2 and other gases from power generation and our use of motor vehicles. There are currently a number of efforts under way to cap power-plant emissions and tailpipe emissions from cars and trucks, but Clean Air - Cool Planet saw a need to look at ways to reduce vehicle use in the Northeast. To that end, we convened, with support from the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation, Transportation Solutions for the Northeast.
